We are passionate about delivering outstanding markets and events in Fenland. Fenland District Council has been working with local volunteers and the respective town councils for over 10 years to create a standout annual event for each of the four Fenland market towns, and to support the weekly markets. We strive to provide an opportunity for local talent to shine and for businesses to thrive. We work hard to ensure that the 20,000 people who visit our markets and events each year can be assured of a wide variety of quality stalls, entertainment and amusements.

Ipswich Borough Council Events Team hold several internally organised outdoor events on parks and open spaces within the borough including Ipswich Music Day, Holi Festival, Mela, Windrush, One Big Multicultural Festival, Family Fun Days and Christmas Lights Switch On.
Our events range from small-scale community events to nationally recognised events that attract up to 30,000 people. Most events are free to attend, however we do hold a number of ticketed events including Adventure Cinema, Fireworks, Oktoberfest, and Open-Air Theatres.
As well as our own events, we facilitate and administer a range of externally organised events taking place on Ipswich Borough Council owned land ranging from charity runs/walks, music concerts, beer festivals and fun fairs.
Kentwell Hall is the home of Scaresville: The Haunted Village, its spooky little brother Halloweenies: School of Sorcery & also hosts regular Living History events throughout the year and Dickensian Christmas. The Venue also hosts other events including Leestock Music Festival and the Taste of East Anglia.
The Norfolk Showground and Event's Centre is Norfolk's Premier Events Venue. Set just outside the beautiful city of Norwich, we have a variety of spaces available for venue and room hire including 150 acres of landscaped parkland, meeting rooms and indoor space, including a 3000 sqm arena. With a unique combination of open parkland and indoor space, the Norfolk Showground is the perfect setting for any event whether it’s a business meeting, training course, concert, trade show, exhibition, charity event, formal dinner or celebration.
Raynham Estate offers creative event space to capture any imagination. In addition to hosting its own array of vibrant and engaging activities and events, Raynham has various spaces available for hire including an 18th Century, five acre Walled Garden which has hosted events including eclectic festivals, intimate soirées, theatre performances, markets, weddings and corporate weekenders.
