We use traditional ice cream bikes. All our soft scoop ice cream is gluten free and made with local ingredients from Suffolk. Dairy free ice cream is also available, We are suitably dressed in keeping with the traditional carts [white shirts, cream aprons and boaters].
We sell traditional style hot sugar coated donuts alongside hot and cold drinks.

We are......Mel's Happy Daze Bar (MHD), a fully licensed, family run, 'Pub on Wheels', based in Ipswich, Suffolk. We serve a full range of draught beers, ciders, ales, spirits, wines, prosecco, cocktails, bottled drinks, soft drinks & much more! We even do ice & a slice. We have a 16ft bar trailer with its own built in cellar & draught dispense equipment enabling us to serve ice cold drinks all day long! We are fully supported by local brewery Greene King and all our drinks are served in biodegradable plastic. We accept cash & card (contactless) payments.
We are fully licensed & insured inc public liability. We pride ourselves in being family friendly with a strict ID policy in place. We can even bring tables, chairs and parasols and set up a seating area for customers to sit, relax & have a drink or two!
We attend many outdoor events all over East Anglia, Including carnivals, car shows, music festivals, weddings & much more!
Parravani’s ice cream is carefully made to a family recipe handed down from generation to generation, to traditional batch methods, and using only the best natural ingredients, many sourced locally, but with some only available imported from Italy; authenticity is everything.
Founded in 1898, we are the oldest independent producer of ice cream in East Anglia and indeed, the longest-established in England. It all started with Giuseppe Parravani, who began as a small ice cream seller in the busy city streets of Norwich.
To this day, the family have maintained the traditional recipes handed down through the generations, and we pride ourselves on making high quality, delicious ice cream, from locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. We have come a long way from Giuseppe’s original vision, but that same vision still encapsulates everything we do.
We have three ice cream vans for hire and a trike for those special occasions such as weddings, birthdays and general events.
The Barista's Shed is an Ipswich based mobile Coffee Bar providing speciality hand roasted coffee, drinks and snacks.
Our shed on wheels looks amazing at any event and our customer experience is outstanding. Our quality products are all selected very carefully. We have fifteen fresh roasted single origin coffees and can make a quality drink from any of our customers' choices.
Available for hire at Events, Company Days, Parties, Weddings and other Special Occasions.
